When a good leader finishes his term, the people say, "Look what we did!" A real man of power does not need to be seen as wielding it, nor expect that a nation will not be overthrown where laws are scorned, and where the tyrant cares so much for money and power, and so little for wisdom and truth, that he overlooks the soul and heart of his people. Our own Barney Fife of International Warlords, with his grim Iranian sit-com and his crypto scams cares nothing for the truth of any issue but only that we be persuaded of his lies, his standard scummery.
And this "Socialist Nightmare" routine is the funniest thing I ever heard. A "socialist", it seems, is anyone who suggests we cooperate as a people to achieve rule of law, healthcare, decent schools, voting rights, workers' rights, human rights, a living minimum wage, clean food and air, affordable essentials, fair taxation; all things this gangster regime works so assiduously to abolish. The real nightmare is upon us: ICE agents killing innocent civilians without accountability and terrorizing communities; epic government corruption.
The most Luciferian of Trump's qualities is his resentment of things greater than himself, which are legion; and, like Lucifer, he is at once mega-monster and mega-victim, nursing his slights like breast milk while he raises comical monuments to himself in every direction, all destined to be pulled down and trampled underfoot from relief and jubilation over his inevitable absence and ultimate disgrace.
